Stroller Strides is a total fitness program that moms can do with their babies. It includes power walking or jogging and intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller, and the environment. Taught by certified instructors, it's a great workout for any level of exerciser. We keep our little ones entertained with songs, counting, fingerplays, tickling and bubbles!
Please bring your stroller, your little one(s), hat or sunblock, snacks/toys (if age appropriate), plenty of water and a mat or towel for groundwork. Most types of strollers will work as long as they are not prone to tipping. A jogging stroller is NOT required.
You can start Stroller Strides as soon as your baby is 6 weeks old and your physician has cleared you to exercise. Children can attend classes up to any age that they still enjoy a ride in the stroller.
Stroller Strides moves indoors for inclement weather (heavy rain or extreme temperatures). If you are in doubt about the weather, wait until 45 minutes before class time and check our Facebook Feed for an update or call 832-736-0808 to listen to the recorded message. When we move indoors, class is held in the Pearland Rec Center gymnasium (4141 Bailey Rd on the corner of Veterans and Bailey) and begins 15 minutes later than usual. If nothing is posted 45 minutes prior to class time, Stroller Strides will be held outdoors as usual.

Stroller Barre is a unique blend of ballet, Pilates, barre, yoga and stroller-based exercises designed to help moms build strength and muscle tone and improve posture. Stroller Barre focuses on strengthening and creating an ideal length/tension relationship in all the postural muscles, creating a taller, leaner looking mommy!

Body Back is an 8 week results based program that is for moms only. Whether you just had a baby or had one twenty years ago, this workout will help you get your body back! The twice weekly class is a high-intensity, interval-based, total body workout. Each Body Back session includes fitness assessments, food journal and diary, individualized goal setting, weekly weigh-ins, online support, DVD and two classes per week.
You do not need to be in shape to do Body Back. We will build you up from your personal starting point. However, you do need to be free from injuries or ailments which would prevent you from training at a high intensity. Body Back is not appropriate during pregnancy.
the meal plan is based on the Mama Wants Her Body Back® program. You get food choices that include Recipes, Grab and Go and Restaurant eating and a food journal to record your eating. You pick and choose based on your lifestyle. To get the best results, you will want to commit to the meal plan.
If you commit 100% to the workout and meal plan, you can expect amazing results. Not only do we see pounds and inches melt away; we see dramatic increases in strength, posture and endurance!
Fit4Baby® is a program designed to strengthen the body for all the changes it will experience during pregnancy. Fit4Baby® classes are interval based, combining elements of strength training, cardiovascular exercises and stretching and balancing exercises.Pregnancy is the perfect time to commit to you and your baby's health. Exercise is an important component to your pregnant well being, as well as your strength as a new mom.
As long as your physician has given you permission to exercise, Fit4Baby is great for all stages of pregnancy. Fit4Baby® instructors are specially trained so they are fully equipped to lead pregnant woman in exercises that are safe and appropriate for your changing body.
We offer 8 week 5K/10K Training programs for all parents. The program is designed for a beginner runner to accomplish a 5K or anyone to improve speed, form and endurance. The session meets once per week and twice a week homework runs are given. We conclude each session by running a 5K/10K race together.
There is absolutely no running experience necessary to join the 5K training program. The first weeks involve very short periods of running mixed with walking. If you are signing up for the 10K training program, you need to be able to run 2 consecutive miles prior to starting the session.
No. Any parent is welcome to sign up for our running program. Babies and children in jogging strollers are welcome at the classes but you can also come alone.
