I had high hopes for Fit4Mom Pearland when I signed up, and it has exceeded my expectations from the start. The Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre workouts are challenging and have continued to challenge me over time. From day one, the moms have been welcoming, fun to be around, and supportive. My daughter also enjoys the classes and seeing all the other kids and moms. Fit4Mom Pearland is a huge blessing in my life!

When I began Stroller Strides, I was pregnant with my second child, caring for a 10 month old, and heavier than I had ever been. We had also just moved to the area. Just over a year later, I am fit for motherhood in a way that I would not have been otherwise. I am surrounded by moms who care for their children, themselves and each other in a way that inspires me every day. As a stay at home mom with no family near, the opportunity to exercise while bringing my children with me is priceless. And with all of the songs, tickles and friends they love it, too! My kids get to see their mom making healthy living a priority (and I believe children learn from our actions more than our words) and that means so much. In addition to the exercise, the support and advice of other moms, the meals that showed up after I had my son and the fun play dates make Stroller Strides a highlight of my and my children's lives

"I started jogging a few months ago with FIT4MOM in hope of losing baby weight and challenging myself. I was a beginner in every sense of the word and my main goal was simply to finish the 5K. Flash forward to today and I am not only finishing 5Ks (yes, multiple) but can complete the 10K and am working towards my first half marathon. This program opened my eyes to what we can achieve if we are committed, have a plan in place and have the support of those who have been there or are right there with you. While the idea of joining a jogging group may seem daunting, they know how to help you achieve your goals at a pace that is manageable. I cannot recommend this group more."

I had done many 5k races before doing Moms on the Run, but I had never run one from start to finish without having to stop and walk. After going through the program, I was able to run the entire race as well as take 5 minutes off my time. Moms on the Run really builds your endurance while teaching you to run faster. I ran my first half marathon less than 4 months after completing Moms on the Run, and I know I wouldn't have been able to do it without going through this program.

Body Back has given me a renewed sense of self. While I was doing the program, I realized that it is ok to do something for myself. I had a goal to improve my overall fitness but gained more than that. I ran my first 5k, dropped a minute off my mile, held planks for longer than a minute, and found a supportive group of ladies. This positive environment helped me push myself and focus on healthy eating as a life choice in order to be a strong mom/wife for my family.

Body Back is such an amazing program. I thought I was doing this for weight loss, but came out with so much more. Not only did I lose weight and inches, I gained strength and endurance. Body Back has forever changed my life! I was in a really bad place physically and mentally - unable to lose the weight I had gained from years of fertility treatments and a twin pregnancy. Not only did I lose weight and inches, but I also gained the confidence and tools needed to make a lifestyle change in my eating habits and workout routine. I'm still in awe of the encouragement and support displayed amongst us moms. This has been the most positive program I've participated in and I'm so proud of our accomplishments!
