Stroller Strides is a total fitness program that moms can do with their babies and young children. It includes power walking and intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller and the environment.

Please tell the front desk attendant you are there for Body Back. You do not need to pay an entrance fee. Bring water, sweat towel and a mat or large towel. Also bring a medium to heavy resistance band if you have one.more

Body Back Workout is for moms only (no children at class please). If you are pregnant or less than 4 months postpartum, be sure your phsyician has cleared you for high intensity exercise prior to participating.

Strides 360 promises a heart-pumping workout designed to increase your endurance while also developing speed, agility, and quickness to help you sprint through mom life. Bodyweight conditioning is strategically placed to provide recovery, strength and round out your workout. It's for any mom interested in a workout that can be as hard as you need it to be on your good days or scaled back on days you’re not sure how you made it out the door! Bring your kiddos with you in the stroller or leave the kiddo at home and come play with your mom friends. Either way, the hour will fly by and leave you energized for the rest of your day

WHAT: The Get Fit Challenge is a 7 week program designed to help you get closer to your fitness goals. We will have before and after fitness assessments, exercise challenges, weekly tips on nutrition/fitness, recipes and lots of motivation/support along the way.

WHO: Any mama who attends Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre or Strides 360 Pearland classes who is ready to reach their goals and who is excited to be part of the team! Must be a current member or pass holder to participate. Not a member yet? Join and ask us about our New Year, Do You specials!

WHEN: Initial assessments/measurements will take place at Southdown Park at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, January 10th-12th. Final assessments will take place Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 27th, 28th and 29th. These assessments will be held during the regular class time. You only need to be present on Thursday, Friday or Saturday for the initial assessments and only Thursday, Friday or Saturday for final assessments.

WHY: Because you DESERVE to get in your best shape and feel awesome! There is power in a group of mamas working together!

HOW: You will need to be ready to increase your intensity at class, set goals and go after them and make changes in the way you fuel your body! Along the way, you will have the support of your FIT4MOM instructors and fellow mamas participating in the challenge during class and through access to our private Get Fit Challenge Facebook group. Get ready for fitness, fun, accountability and bonding with our village of mamas.

The Get Fit Challenge is NOT a weight loss competition (there is no scale involved), not a diet or food restriction plan, not extreme and absolutely no high pressure. You can do this!

Join us for a free FIT4BABY class plus learn the top 5 Baby Sleep Tips from Bedtime Boss! Enjoy a total body prenatal workout with other expecting mamas. Stay after class for our guest speaker, Caroline, who is a certified sleep sense consultant with Bedtime Boss. Caroline will share her top five baby sleep tips and will have time for Q&A!

Be sure to register and sign the waiver prior to class. Bring water, sweat towel and yoga mat if you have one. Invite a friend!

FIT4BABY is a prenatal class but both expecting and new mamas are welcome to join us for this free event for a good workout and to learn tips to help your little ones sleep. The class is for moms only, so leave the little ones at home. :)

Session will meet February 4th-March 24th on Tuesdays from 6:45-7:45 p.m. at the Pearland Rec Center.

Fit4Baby® is a program designed to strengthen the body for all the changes it will experience during pregnancy. These classes exclusively focus on pregnant moms! (Other FIT4MOM® classes may include dads, nannies and other child caregivers.) Regular activity such as Fit4Baby® classes can help to reduce many maternal aches and pains, increase energy during pregnancy and may speed the labor, delivery and recovery process. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), exercise is just as important during pregnancy as any other time of life.

We train and certify our Fit4Baby® instructors so they are fully equipped to lead pregnant woman in exercises that are safe and appropriate for her changing body. Fit4Baby® classes are interval based, combining elements of strength training, cardiovascular exercises and stretching and balancing exercises.

Pregnancy is the perfect time to commit to you and your baby's health. Exercise is an important component to your pregnant well being, as well as your strength as a new mom. We encourage each member of any FIT4MOM® program to seek a physician's approval before starting any exercise program. Fit4Baby®: helping soon-to-be mothers find the STRENGTH FOR MOTHERHOOD!
