Tell us about you and your family.

I consider myself a stay-at-home mom since I work as a supplemental nurse once a week with Memorial Hermann. I enjoy reading, shopping, cross stitching, journaling, and I have recently begun learning the guitar. My husband, John, is an electrical engineer who enjoys reading and spending time with family. Our kids are Gilbert, our rambunctious and active 2 year old and Elinor, our happy and calm 10 month old.

How did you hear about Fit4mom Pearland and what made you start going?

I heard about Fit4mom through Moms of Pearland facebook group. I started going after I wasn't losing the baby weight as fast as I wanted.

What is your favorite thing about motherhood?

My favorite thing about motherhood is watching my kids grow up and getting to meet the people they are becoming.

What are some of your favorite things to do about kids?

My favorite things to do without kids is go shopping at Target, go to the library, or go on dates with my husband.

What TV show are you currently watching or book that you’re reading? I just finished "Nine Perfect Strangers" by Liane Moriarty and I am planning to go through the Anne of Green Gables book series.

What are some of your favorite moms night out or playgroups?

My favorite play group was after class having milk and cookies on blankets while Sarah read to all the kids. It was very low-key and it created the perfect cute, cozy atmosphere.

What advice do you have for other moms?

My only advice to other moms is to calm down and try to enjoy these years even though they can be incredibly challenging and difficult. I need that advice more than anyone, actually.

And lastly, tell us something interesting that we may not know about you.

Interesting facts about me- I am a Canadian citizen and I spent a year in Southern France as an exchange student my senior year of high school. I am now fluent in French.
