Introducing our Mom of the Month, Kristina Cox!
Kristina joined FIT4MOM Pearland in March 2017. She has participated in FIT4BABY, Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre, and the Get Fit challenge in 2018. She is so hard working in class and out. Kristina is such a dedicated mama to sweet Molly! She somehow manages to balance work, friendship, playdates, and even takes time to share her yummy recipes with us all. We are so lucky to have this sweet family in Pearland!
"Kristina is such a fun mom! She always works hard and has a positive attitude at class. She is an awesome example of a working mom who manages to get it all done and make it look easy. Having her husband join us for family class is so fun too. They are such a sweet family!" -Katie Fenn
“Kristina is such a fun person to be around. She is a fantastic momma who is an incredible role model for her little girls.”-Allison Burkhard
Tell us about you and your family.
We are growing! My husband and I met nearly eight years ago and after traveling majority of the US for work we settled in Houston about four years ago. We got married here and had our first daughter Molly in June, 2017 with our second daughter due in December this year!
How did you hear about Fit4Mom Pearland and what made you start going?
Facebook! I came for a free class and had a blast, been coming ever since!
What is your favorite thing about motherhood?
I embrace the bad with the good. I love it all! My little lady is my whole world. Watching her grow over this past year has been amazing.
What are some of your favorite things to do without kids?
Yoga, drink wine and sleep.
What TV show are you currently watching or book are you reading?
We just got into Broadchurch on Netflix. I’m hooked!
What are some of your favorite Moms Night Outs and play groups?
We love our play groups! I have yet to make it for a mom’s night out but y’all are some of the best moms and littles in town.
What advice do you have for other moms?
Motherhood is personal! Don’t feel you’re doing something wrong because someone else does it differently.
Tell us something interesting about you that many of us may not know.
When I first started college I was on a full paid art scholarship to study Opera, I sang at Disney every year for Christmas and sang at Carnegie Hall when I was a senior in High School. I still love to sing but have not participated in anything professionally in years. I actually get terrible stage fright.
