Tell us about you and your family.

I originally grew up in Dallas. I graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Animal Science. I have been married to my husband for almost 5 years now, but we have been together for almost 10. My husband is an actuary who also graduated from A&M. We have two boys Grayson who is 2.5 and Christian who is 3 months and two dogs.

How did you hear about Fit4Mom Pearland and what made you start going?

I was looking for something to keep my son and I occupied so the day was not so long. Elizabeth Kelley, who is the owner, reached out to me. I loved the idea of working out with my son and making friends with other moms in the area.

What is your favorite thing about motherhood?

Seeing traits in our boys and who they came from. I also love seeing them learn and getting to see the world through their eyes.

What are some of your favorite things to do without kids?

I love to run, go horseback riding (dressage and jumping), yoga, baking, and playing soccer.

What TV show are you currently watching or book are you reading?

I love to read! Both boys and dogs have gotten at least one part of their name from a book. I’m currently ready the Mercy Kilpatrick series. The TV shows that I’m watching are Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory, and waiting for Master Chef.

What are some of your favorite Moms Night Outs and play groups?

I enjoyed going strawberry picking at Froberg’s for a play date. The Christmas party is always fun for Moms Night Out.

What advice do you have for other moms?

Breathe! And ask for help.

And lastly, tell us something interesting that we may not know about you.

This is the most outgoing I’ve ever been!
