January Mom of the Month - Sarah

"Sarah is such a hardworking member of ALL of our workout programs. She pushes herself so hard during workouts and goes out of her way to make all of our Moms feel welcome in our tribe. I admire Sarah's balance as a working Mom, and I love having Sarah in class. She is such a positive person and motivates others with her good attitude and outgoing nature."

-Katie Fenn

"I always enjoy seeing Sarah at class! She’s great to chat with and has the best book recommendations. I did my first body back transformation class with her and always found her to be encouraging".

-Vanessa Martin

Tell us about your family.

My husband and I have been married for almost 9 years we have been together a total of 15 years. We have two girls: Teagan (6) and Taylor (4).

How did you hear about FIT4MOM, and why did you decide to join?

I had seen a mom acquaintance of mine share her Body Back attendance off and on and I think Elizabeth shared the Body Back preview on the pearland mom's page so I decided I would come. I decided to join because I wanted to do something for myself with similar people going through the same things I'm going through and I hate gyms!

What is your favorite thing about motherhood?

My favorite thing about motherhood would have to be watching my girls grow. And learn they truly amaze me and the things they pick up on and can do. Teagan can already scramble her own eggs with my supervision of course but that's amazing in my book

What is your favorite family activity to do during Winter Break?

Hanging out with family and all my kids' cousins. My husband is one of 5 and each of us have 2-3 kiddos so there's 13 cousins on my husband's side and that's just from his siblings that doesn't count all his cousins lol. It's fun to watch them play!

What is your New Year’s Resolution?

My New year's resolution would be to LOVE more and Criticize less. Mostly be less critical of myself.

What advice would you tell a fellow Mom?

You do you! There's a lot of advice out there good And bad and sure it's great to get all the information. At the end of the day you just make whatever decision is best for you and your family.

What are some of your favorite things to do solo?

Go to the grocery store by myself. If I truly have solo time I just wanna chill do nothing and answer to no one

And lastly, tell us something interesting that we may not know about you?

I am an Esthetician. I work for a Dermatology practice in Houston. I LOVE audio books and podcasts! I actually really like to cook and I'm actually not horrible. I've really surprised myself over the years. I'd like to take some cooking classes and a knife cutting class. Seriously I need to know how those chefs chop so fast and don't slice off their fingers!!!
