Meet our June Mom of the Month, Casey Hood!

Casey is pure sunshine! She always has a smile or a kind word when it’s needed most. She shows up to class ready to work and always keeps going until the very end-no matter what! Casey is one of the sweetest moms I know! I’m so thankful to Fit4Mom Pearland for introducing us! She is so strong and consistent with showing up to class, rain or shine. I love getting to catch up with her and her boys and I can always count on her for laughs and giggles! She’s a certified rockstar! Love you, Casey girl!

Tell us who makes up your family. Where are you from? What brought you to Pearland?

Me, my husband Johnny, Coleman, Dean, and soon to be baby Sage! I moved to Pearland from porter in 2019 when I met my husband and we got married shortly after and bought our first house in Alvin. We also have our 2 dogs and all our farm animals.

What is your proudest mommy moment?

Watching my boys learn new things everyday and always wanting to help around and outside the house.

What are a few of your favorite things?

I love spending time with my family, shopping, reading, and going out to eat

What surprised you most about motherhood? What advice would you give a new mom?

Before I had kids I was a homebody and always wanted to stay home and now we are almost never at home. Me and the boys love getting out of the house whether it’s for a quick errand or a playdate with friends. My advice to a new mom would be to not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone! Motherhood isn’t meant to be done alone and finding this community is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself and my kids!

What do you love about FIT4MOM? What would you say to a new mom who is thinking about coming to class?

The community! I didn’t know anyone when I moved here and thanks to FIT4MOM I have so of the best friends and honorary aunties to my babies. If you are thinking about coming to class you will not regret doing it!
