Meet our March Mom of the Month, Nicolette Nino.

Nicolette is an amazing mom and friend She is always with a smile and ready to give you kind words. When you need someone to push you hard be next to Nicolette because with lovely words, she will make you do your best. She is always in a good mood and ready to hear and give you advice or share her experience in case you need it. She is a great friend and I am so glad and lucky I met her in Fit4mom.

When did you join FIT4MOM? Which class do you attend? Which class is your favorite and why?

I try to attend all of the classes but my ultimate favorite is Barre. I really enjoy a good balance and core workout.

Tell us about your family.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10 yr anniversary coming up this Memorial Day and we just had our first baby boy, who’s 20 months old now.

How did you hear about FIT4MOM, and why did you decide to join?

My husband was driving to work one day and saw a bunch of mamas walking with their strollers at the park. He had mentioned it to me but I really didn’t put too much thought into it until I went to a Just Between Friends event. There, I found a FIT4MOM brochure and that was my sign, I had to join. I decided to join because I needed to get out of the house, lol and I needed to do something good for myself.

What is your favorite thing about motherhood?

Watching my son grow. His fascination and discovery for everyday things just amazes me.

What are your favorite spring activities to do with baby?

Well, my son is still pretty young but we are excited to find what fun things, we can do this spring

So far, what has been your favorite milestone to watch?

It’s NOW!!! He is learning how to talk and trying to carry a conversation with me and half the time, I don’t understand what he’s telling me, lol but I absolutely love his positive enthusiasm.

What is your favorite advice to share with new mommas?

You do what’s best for your family. Try not to listen to all the unsolicited advice and try not to google every lil thing.

Rodeo is coming up here in Houston? Do you have Rodeo plans?

I love the Rodeo!! I’ve got tickets to a couple of concerts and I’m especially excited to take my son to see the livestock. He knows his animals now so it will be exciting to see him make those connections.

And lastly, tell us something interesting that we may not know about you.

I’m really a tomboy at heart. I enjoy anything that has to do with the outdoors. I love to sweat, and I don’t mind getting dirty. I can be competitive and I’m always up for a fun challenge and I hate dressing up unless I truly have too, lol.
