May Mom of the Month - Ciarrah

Meet our May Month of the Month -Ciarrah Brown!

I love having Ciarrah and her boys in my classes! Ciarrah is so sweet to new mamas and veteran mamas alike, whoever chats with her on the travels always feels welcome. She is always quick to help a mama in need! Her boys light up each class with joy and energy, you can count on them to cheer us on, to share and play with the other kiddos. Happy kiddos mean happy mamas who can focus on their workout! The three of them make the best Fit4Mama team and we cannot wait to welcome her newest addition this year too!

Oh my goodness I love having Miss Ciarrah Brown apart of our village! She’s one of the sweetest most welcoming moms, and I always have great conversation with her! She doesn’t know a stranger and she always brings such a great energy to class! When I see Ciarrah’s name on my class roster, I know it’s going to be a good class. Her boys are also the best, cheering us mama’s on when we’re getting our workout on! Thank you, Ciarrah, for being YOU! Keep sparkling, mama!

Tell us who makes up your family. Where are you from? What brought you to Pearland?

I am originally from Denison, TX and moved to Houston/Pearland area in 2017 from San Antonio, TX where I met my husband in college. We have two precious boys and another baby boy coming this June!

What is your proudest mommy moment?

My proudest mommy moment is when you think you’re doing it all wrong and then your child says “mommy, I love you” or “you’re the best, mom” and all your doubt seems to fade away and your heart melts!

What are a few of your favorite things?

My most favorite thing is being a wife and mommy. My sons are my greatest achievement and have shaped me into who I am today. Also, trying a new coffee shop, exploring a new bookstore, a good book or tv series also brings me joy!

What surprised you most about motherhood? What advice would you give a new mom?

What surprised me most about motherhood is the overwhelm of emotions that comes with it - the joy, the worry, the anxiety, the fear, etc. but also the deep profound love that surpasses it all and reminds us why we began this journey in the first place. A love that gets us through the good days and the bad days. Advice I’d give to a new mom would be to adjust your expectations, give yourself grace because motherhood is an adjustment and it’s okay to make mistakes, be open to learning because parenting is a learning process and the greatest but also one of the hardest things we’ll ever do! Most importantly, enjoy every moment!

What do you love about FIT4MOM? What would you say to a new mom who is thinking about coming to class?

FIt4Mom really got me out of a dark place I was in at the time of joining. It gave me a sense of routine and an awesome community of moms. Which is why I love it so much! Through Fit4Mom my sons have gained friendships and I’ve gained a tribe of mamas who I enjoy their company and conversation. For any new moms thinking of joining I’d say it’s a great opportunity to not only get a great workout in but also to be around other moms who are in the same stage of life you’re in. It’s 100% a mood booster all the way around.
