Meet our November Mom of the Month, Cassandra Worrel!
I absolutely love Cassandra! I met her at one of her first stroller barre classes and I knew instantly that she was going to become a great friend of mine. She gives the best vibes and she’s so sweet to everyone she meets. She is such a light and beautiful on both inside and outside! She’s one of the moms that I look up to when it comes to motherhood and she’s definitely an inspiration. We were in run club together a few times and now we’re about to run our first half marathon race together here in a couple of weeks! I love seeing her name on my roster and I love seeing her sweet girls Kennedy and Rylie! Congratulations, Cassandra! Keep shining and being YOU!

Cassandra is the ultimate mom’s mom! Your kiddo is having a meltdown, she’ll play with them until they giggle. You’re having a hard day, she wants to hear all about it and make you belly laugh with a joke. You need some mama motivation, she’s got you! I love having her in my classes for all of those reasons and more. Cassandra brightens up any room she walks into and gets everyone around her smiling. I am so grateful she’s apart of our Fit4Mom village!

Tell us who makes up your family. Where are you from? What brought you to Pearland?
My husband, Zach, and I have 5 year old Kennedy and (almost) 2 year old Riley! My husband and I both graduated from Pearland and his job had us settle back here after college!
What is your proudest mommy moment?
Seeing the servant hearts my kids have for others. I’ve seen both girls check on others and be concerned with how their friends are doing when it would be easy to keep playing and not notice.
What are a few of your favorite things?
Reading, Mexican food and traveling!
What surprised you most about motherhood? What advice would you give a new mom?
How easy it can be to become isolated, not just in the newborn trenches. I would tell any new mom to speak up for herself. When someone asks how you are, assume they genuinely want to know and answer honestly. You never know who has had a similar experience and can provide you with hope and advice.
What do you love about FIT4MOM? What would you say to a new mom who is thinking about coming to class?
Even more than the friendships and communities I’ve found in F4M, I love that it teaches our kids that it’s important to take time for yourself and care for your body. I’m sure that seeing so many strong moms prioritize themselves and their health, even for just an hour at class, will encourage them to do the same as they get older.
