Meet our October Mom of the Month & Instructor Spotlight, Lindsay Moralez!
How did you hear about Fit4mom?
Online search in 2016 when my babies were almost 2 & 1. I was a stay at home mom with 2 under 2. Attended my first class and loved it. I joined for the community, then fell in love with the fitness.
How did you become an instructor?
I enjoyed pushing myself at each class and in 2017 was approached with the opportunity to become an instructor. Through the years I taught Fit4baby, Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre and Strides 360. As my girls grew older my love for Fit4mom and appreciation stayed. I am currently teaching Body Ignite and Fit4baby (prenatal) in the evening.
Tell us who makes up your family. Where are you from? What brought you to Pearland?
2 Daughters, myself and my husband. 1 dog and 2 lizards.
What is your proudest mommy moment?
Watching my girls spread kindness to others
What are a few of your favorite things?
Halloween, cooking, reading, tumbling and being making the kiddos smile
What surprised you most about motherhood? What advice would you give a new mom?
The biggest surprise was realizing how physically and emotionally strong I could be. My advice? Have fun and make your own rules. Be patient and kind to yourself as you navigate this new journey. There is no such thing as a perfect parent. Some days you’re the bug and some days you’re the windshield.
What do you love about FIT4MOM? What would you say to a new mom who is thinking about coming to class?
First class can be terrifying. I almost talked myself out of it due to fear. DO IT! Even if the kiddos are screaming in the stroller. I PROMISE you will be surrounded by moms who are in the trenches with you or have been there before. It’s a judgement free environment!
